Terms and Conditions of Use

These terms and conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) are an agreement between Codepet (“us”, “we”, or “our”) and you (“User”, “you”, “your”) governing your use of any websites, mobile applications, web applications, and other software products and services operated by Codepet (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using any of our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our Services.
1. User Responsibilities
- You agree to use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- You agree not to misuse, modify, adapt, reverse-engineer, or hack the Services or their underlying systems.
- You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Services or any systems or networks connected to them.
- You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services or any servers or networks connected to them.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or using the Services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Intellectual Property
- All content, features, and functionality of the Services are the property of Codepet and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content accessed through the Services without prior written consent from Codepet.
- Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you provide to Codepet regarding the Services may be used by Codepet without any obligation to you.
3. User Content
- Some of our Services may allow you to submit, upload, or otherwise make available content, data, or information (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.
- By submitting User Content, you grant Codepet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and process your User Content solely as necessary to provide and operate the Services.
- You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to submit it.
- Codepet reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.
4. Paid Services
- Some of our Services may be offered on a free basis, while others may require payment through subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other pricing models.
- If you purchase a paid Service, you agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase. All fees are in the currency stated and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or stated in a separate refund policy.
- Codepet reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Changes to pricing for active subscriptions will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, and we will provide reasonable notice of such changes.
- We may offer free trials or promotional pricing. Unless you cancel before the trial or promotion ends, you may be charged the then-current rate.
5. Limitation of Liability
- The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- Codepet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, use of, or inability to use the Services.
- In no event shall Codepet's total liability to you for all damages, losses, and causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Codepet and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.
7. Changes to Services and Terms
- Codepet reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without prior notice.
- We may update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
8. Termination
You may stop using our Services at any time. If a Service offers account deletion, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Codepet reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to any or all of the Services without prior notice for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease.
9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
- Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days, either party may proceed with formal legal action.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
10. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
